New name, new book, one week apart.
The Big Change Lookbook is here.
When I started this newsletter in June 2021, from the beginning I imagined it as a rough draft for a book. Sticking to a weekly publishing schedule was easier with a vision in mind of where it was all leading. It's been five years since kickoff, over 200 issues are now out in the world, and it feels like the right time to take stock of what I've learned and shared about small-space living. So, this summer I've balanced days of ease with intense bouts of shaping something new.
48 pages. 20 entries, plus a bonus round of 7 quick hits. Every move, design element, and how-to I've picked as the best proof of what this newsletter has always believed: change doesn't need much room to happen.
One of my favourites made it in: the micro move I call "Frame." You might think of framing as a cumbersome and expensive process that involves an irreversible commitment. But there's a more casual version that allows for spontaneous decisions and easy updates. You'll find it in the book chapter called "The Moves."

One thing worth mentioning: condensing five years of articles into this format meant a lot of editing, and I used AI tools to help with that process. Every sentence was reviewed and approved by me. The ideas and the voice are still all mine.
For $24, The Big Change Lookbook is yours to keep. Download it, print it, come back to it whenever your space needs a nudge.
A portion of every sale is going to Furniture Bank, a Toronto charity that helps families furnish their homes – including kids who don't have a bed of their own. Buying the Lookbook helps make someone else's space feel like home too.
Thank you for reading.
